KARTS ADDED TO SCHEDULE! |
 |
Outlaw Karts will be added to the event
schedule this season at Summit Raceway. The rules will
be adopted from the other local area race tracks. We
believe this is a great opportunity for those not old enough to race
on the big oval to still compete during the events at Summit
Raceway.
The kart track has been improved and upgraded to 150 feet straights,
120 feet across the infield, and a 30 foot wide racing line with
banked corners.

2010 race season gets underway with a test and tune for all classes on
Saturday, April 24, 2010! Opening weekend for the race season
is a double header on Friday & Saturday May 7 & 8,
2010. The season will wind to a close on Friday &
Saturday, September 24 & 25, 2010. Check out the full

Modified Revised Payout Schedule:
The following numbers were
calculated subtracting out all IMCA funds, $75.00 off the top, and $5 for
each driver for end of year track points fund, and 5% of total payout for
IMCA end of the year point fund.
This
is based on the $35 for the car and driver and $10 for each pit person
($20 for 2 pit members per car).

20 cars the only places that increase will be 1st, 2nd, and 3rd by $25 for
every 2 cars. Additionally in the event that half of the cars do not
finish the money shall be split among the top 3 finishing cars. In the
event additional money is left over from back gate it will be split in the
calculated percentages to the top half of the field.
